Why we publish
Newcomers often receive fragmented advice: a Facebook comment, a short video, a government page written in formal language, or a friend’s experience that may not apply to their situation. GlobalPinoy brings the preparation side together. We organize official sources into clear checklists, timelines, and questions to ask.
Who runs this site
GlobalPinoy is managed by an independent Filipino-Canadian community publisher based in Ontario. The site is informed by lived newcomer and family-settlement experience, but it is not operated by IRCC, the Government of Canada, a law firm, a bank, a tax firm, or an immigration consultancy.
What we will not do
We do not guarantee immigration outcomes, prepare applications for a fee, represent clients, tell people to hide facts, or publish unverified “shortcuts.” Where a decision has legal, financial, medical, or immigration consequences, we point readers to an official source and encourage qualified professional advice where needed.
How we earn money
GlobalPinoy may use advertising or carefully identified sponsorships in the future. Advertising does not change our editorial content. We do not sell personal information collected through ordinary site visits.
